Siem Reap – Angkor Cycling Tour start cycling along the Siem Reap Riverbank and downtown, visit the local main shrine called Preah Ang Check and Preah Ang Chom as much as the fruit bats in the public garden and continue to ride further to visit the Preah EnKohSei Pagoda and Wat Thmei Pagoda where you will learn about the Buddhism in the first pagoda and Pol Pot Regime second pagoda. Cycle through the rice paddies, villages, and countryside to Banteay Samre; the first has a terraced landing that reminds us that the temple was originally constructed as sandstone in the remote village.

Day 1: Siem Reap – Arrival – Siem Reap Town and local pagodas (Cycling: 10km)

On arrival at Siem Reap International, meet and transfer with our local guide to the hotel for check-in (Early check-in is NOT included and subject to the hotel’s availability). Get an itinerary briefing by the guide and then start cycling along the Siem Reap Riverbank and downtown, visit the local main shrine called Preah Ang Check and Preah Ang Chom as much as the fruit bats in the public garden, continue to ride further to visit the Preah EnKohSei Pagoda and Wat Thmei Pagoda where you will learn about the Buddhism in the first pagoda and Pol Pot Regime second pagoda. Before we get dinner, our guide will bring you to visit the local food market where you can see the daily activities of the locals in the evening that they enjoy a picnic and dinner with family along the street with many types of food such as grilled chicken, cow, and deep-fried spiders…… return to the hotel to get refreshment for welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Siem Reap – Banteay Samre and Banteay Srei temples (Cycling: 75km)

Depart for an introductory cycle through the rice paddies, villages, and countryside to Banteay Samre; the first has a terraced landing that reminds us that the temple was originally constructed as sandstone in the remote village. Continue cycling through the countryside, Khmer Village and Phnom Bok before having lunch in Bong Thom House on the way. After lunch cycle further to Banteay Srei, which translates to “Citadel of the Women”. It is one of Angkor’s most significant structures as its walls are decorated with elaborate carvings which have been preserved remarkably well. Cycle back to Siem Reap.

Day 3: Siem Reap – Angkor Temples (Cycling: 45km)

Breakfast at the hotel, today is a full day with all the main temples of Angkor before being transferred to the airport for departure. Check out from the hotel and keep our luggage in the escorted van and then get ready to start our cycling through the back road in the jungle of Angkor to Bakheng Mountain, get the first visit to Angkor Wat temple where you will spend an hour and cycle further to Banteay Kdei and Ta Prohm temples. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, after lunch, we continue to Preah Khan Temple, Bayon, and Angkor Thom City on the way back to Siem Reap.

Day 4: Siem Reap – Countryside Cycling and Kayaking – Departure (Cycling: 35km)

Today you will have a full-day adventure tour by cycling through the countryside and Kayaking in Tonle Sap Lake, so make sure you will have a late evening flight and relay the flight information to the tour guide to be flexible with your tour. You are transferred from the hotel to the riding point which is 8km away from town and it is called West Baray, a man-made lake remains from the Angkor Period in the 11th Century with 2.8km x 8km, warm up while your guide is giving the information about the man-make lake, history and the cultures of locals then you start riding from West Baray down to south along the small cannel to Tonle Sap Lake, witnessing the daily activities of the farmers in rice paddies, fruit farms, and local vegetable garden during pushing your bike. On arrival at the boat pier, embark on the local boat cruising down to the floating village where you will get a gentle kayak for 20minutes to visit the floating houses, and then lunch will be provided on one of the wooden floating houses. After lunch you are transferred by local boat again further deep to lake to get one more time Kayaking in the mangroves forest to the open lake, it will take you an hour for the second kayaking and you will feel it is too short because of the specialty and authenticity of moment, quietness and the scenery of mangrove, it is unforgettable activities to bring back home with a long-lasting memory. Get back to our longtail boat and return to the boat pier, transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure.
